TBI One Love Survivor Nathalie Kelley

Hello, my name is Nathalie.

I acquired my TBI taking a sailing lesson in 2010, when a huge storm came. I was flipped over my boat when I tried to get it upright and being catapulted twisted my brain. The boat then hit me on the head hard enough to knock out my front tooth and do the rest of the damage.

My professional background was in complementary medicine and neuroplasticity before the accident, so I have applied everything I knew on my own healing for 6 years. I have come a long way!

I am left with many ongoing issues, but the hardest is not knowing where my body is in space, and the intolerance to motion I have (leading to complete disorientation).
