Hello, my name is Saba.
I sustained my TBI in a Motor Vehicle Accident in 2010, when My car rolled down a 25ft ditch. I was not given a head scan, or taken seriously at the time of my injury, and was not given the proper treatment. Over time, I realized I had sustained a concussion, which was confirmed by various doctors and specialists. It took about 4-5 years to obtain the proper treatment.
Prior to my accident I was a second year medical student, and had to take an extended leave from school because of difficulty reading and processing information.
I currently use art to express myself, and to raise TBI awareness!
